How long does plaster take to dry?

The plaster will need a minimum of 3-5 days to achieve full dryness. NO DIRECT HEAT.

How do I paint fresh plaster?

On all new plaster, you must apply a mist coat of paint. This is a regular emulsion watered down with 10 - 20 % water, ensuring that it is thoroughly stirred. The paint must be a standard matt, not vinyl matt.

How do I get the room ready for you?

As empty as you can we want to keep your valuables clean and safe.

How do I know if Artex has asbestos?

It's an extremely difficult substance to identify in artex as it is always mixed with other non asbestos materials and as the fibres are so small they simply cannot be seen. The only way to be 100% certain of its presence or absence is to have it tested by an accredited asbestos surveyor.
